KFC has recently came up with a new breakfast menu creation - the a.m. Blueberry Pancakes! We (meaning Mike and I) were invited to give it a try so we were really quite excited!

Afterall free food is always good :P And not to mention I love pancakes!

A little section in KFC suntec was partitioned off for us. It said private event. I felt like a kid having a birthday party there!

Cutlery and some... are these called condiments? were already on the table. Spot the butter, maple syrup, salt and pepper!

But first... A drink.

Felt like something light so I ordered an Iced tea. Brad on the other hand got milo peng!! Just looking at it makes me thirsty.

The first one is the a.m. Blueberry Pancakes
with Hash Brown!

Winning combination of fluffy pancakes, velvety soft scrambled eggs, and a hash brown.

Of course, imho no pancakes are complete without a heavy dosage of melty butter!! Actually I just drizzled the syrup to snap a picture. I love maple syrup so much I actually just dip slices of pancake into the syrup and noms it.

The pancakes tastes awesome with just butter but maple syrup makes it even better.

Ok my butter looks very mutilated so here's a nicer pic:

The pancakes are prepared just right and the blueberries make for an extra bonus taste!

Comes with freshly brewed coffee or tea for only $5.30.

The second plate, also known as the a.m. Platter.

It's a hearty breakfast with the signature Original Recipe chicken fillet which everyone loves, scrambled eggs, a.m. Honey Biscuit and hash brown.


OMG I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THE HONEY BISCUIT.

It's this warm, soft little bun of love. Inside completely fluffy and melts in your mouth while the outside is a little crispy and DRIZZLED with HONEY!!!

Seriously best biscuit I've ever had!! LOVE it. I had a second helping of it lol.

NO! None for you Huiwen!

And introducing the a.m. Twister (Original Recipe):

Tortilla wrap

The inside is filled with Original Recipe chicken fillet, scrambled eggs, chopped tomatoes, cheddar cheese and mayonnaise. Comes piping hot and toasted. Totally delicious! If you are lazy to eat with a plate and cutlery, this comes neatly wrapped up for you.

The next item is famous:

It's KFC's a.m. Porridge!

Don't like the shallots and onions so I requested for none

This is Huiwen's favourite and she finished like 1.5 bowls all by herself -_-

Definitely comfort food!! Chucks of Original Recipe chicken fillet in the porridge. Add pepper if you like the peppery taste!

I love gooey sticky non-watery porridge. So smooth in your mouth.

Iron Make your hair

In case you are wondering why the title of the blog entry is so weird sounding, it's because today I'm going to be trying out Liese's Iron Make Collection!! More about that in a bit.

What are they?

The Iron Make Collection contains heat-activated polymer.

This magic polymer thingy is softened by heat - it spreads and stretches well on your hair, forming a barrier between your hair and the evil iron. This helps to minimize the heat damage on your hair.

As it cools, polymer becomes a solid again and keeps your hairstyle firm for you. There is also the "heat spring" ingredient that enables bouncy curls to be created with a "bending ability" - meaning your curls/ramrod straight hair will not feel stiff, hard or sticky!

So not only do you get hair that holds its style and shape all day, it's also soft to touch and not damaged! So amazing one wtf

I'm excited to give it a try!!!

For more even coverage it's better to put the nozzle about 15cm from your hair. 

Make sure all parts of your hair that will come in contact with the hair iron is well covered.

Pinned up my hair, put in a flower, and curling tongs heated up. I am ready to start!

I definitely feel safer with Rich Curl in between my hair and the hot rod!

And done!!!! Love the gyaru curls! :D

I love it! To be honest I was a little skeptical at first about the product. I hate putting styling products on my hair coz I wash my hair about once every 4 days. Yeah it's gross and whatever - but my hair is super long so it's a major hassle to wash!

So yes I don't like products that make my hair stiff or hard. I like to run my fingers through my hair! And I suspected that the Liese Iron Make Collection might be, but it really isn't!! After this shooting this advertorial I actually went to bed with the product on my hair :D It's not sticky at all!

And the curls definitely lasted longer than usual. For even longer-lasting curls, you can try to use some of Liese's Wax and Foam to hold the curls into place.

Another thing I liked: I felt my hair looks shinier after I applied Rich Curl!! :D :D :D

So of course, it's time to camwhore! Afterall, a good hair day is not that easy to come by!

I didn't use the Rich Straight but it works the same way as the Rich Curl - just that it contains "heat stretch" ingredients to straighten frizz and unwanted wavy hair.

Love More

So excited!!! Received a giant box of many masks from Love More. They are actually one of the best selling mask brands in Taiwan!

Their packaging are all very pretty with girly cute graphics!! Irresistable!

I love masks!! It's hard not to - put it on, go about doing your usual pottering around the house, then after removing the mask your skin will be super soft and thankful!!

Among the masks here are 2 of my favourites:

Love More New Zealand Kiwi Acnes All Out Set

As you can see it's a really "special" mask coz it comes in a set of 3!

It is specially for both women and men who have troubled acne skin in Singapore's hot and humid weather.

With the strong adhesive ability, acne can be removed completely, turning your skin smooth immediately.

After the removal of acne, the skin won't be dry but with moisture retained. Natural kiwi fruit extract prevents further proliferation of acne.

The kiwi extract removes dead skin cells too, causing fairer skin with smaller pores.

I'm gonna try it out!

Here's the steps:

Apply the softener on your desired skin area (for me, nose and area around nose. blackheads!) and give it a good massage for 2-3 mins. This opens up pores for easier acne/blackhead removal!

The softener feels just like water.

This is the fun part!

Apply the Purifying Mask all over your desired areas! The mask is very gooey and smells super nice, really like kiwi! It is white with little beads of green. :D

Wait for 10-15 minutes till the mask is dry, and remove the mask! If there is excess mask left, wash off with warm or cold water.

You can see some of the blackheads and whiteheads on the mask!

Lastly apply the Purifying Astringent Essence!

The consistency is kinda like a toner. This works to contract acne prone pores. Pores will become smaller and less noticeable! :D

Super QQ, clean and smooth skin

I love how the essence makes my skin feel EXTRA clean!!
