Reebonz Spring Clean Blogger Contest

Hey girls!!

Spring has always been my favourite season. 

I know Singapore doesn't have four seasons but if you go to a seasonal country, Spring is when the weather is perfect... Sunshiny and not too warm. People are having picnics and rainbows are in the sky and the flowers are all blooming with roaring colours everywhere.

Just describing it makes me feel like donning on a chiffony, floaty sundress and sandals, flying a kite and falling in love!!!!

Woohoo!!

So in order to entice you to join the competition I am also gonna participate and come up with 3 spring outfits!!

But first, the difficult task... Choosing the bag!!


And... *drumroll* I choose the green Prada!!!

Love that shade, super got Spring ambience ok!!

(Please note my "outfits" are all, erm, modelled by myself. Apparently everyone else just did a polyvore sorta thing... You can choose either!)

LOOK 1:

Spaghetti strapped top with a playful pink chiffon skirt. The skirt has dusty blue bunnies all over it!

Coz spring is when bunnies have the most fun (ie fornicating LOLOLOL)!!

Make up is an essential part of the look!

Green contacts, green eyeshadow, pale rosebud lips and pink blusher for that flushed I-just-ran-about-in-the-sunflower-field look.

And not to forget, of course, romantic soft curls on the hair. :D

Haha the bag looks a bit crumpled coz it's actually empty.

Sorry all photos got no footwear coz my camera lighting cannot snap from far away wtf... Just imagine gladiator sandals or espradrilles with everything thanks.

LOOK 2:

My staple can't-live-without clothing item is the white wifebeater tank top!! Matches everything and is (to me lah) super sexy!! Ok I'm not sexy in it but imagine Megan Fox wearing it!

Actually don't need to imagine, she's wearing it in the Love the Way You Lie mtv.

I might have gone off tangent a bit. Back to the outfit!

Floral skirt. Predictable? I don't care! I love florals and I wanna wear them!

Garland of flowers on hair - it's fake but if people ask why I have flowers on hair I'm gonna say I gathered them while prancing around the lake.

And a little knitted fingerless glove which I kinda regret putting on coz it looks weird on only one hand and I lost the other side.

Lightweight perforated stripey red and white dress!!

Perfect for Valentine's day with a heart-shaped belt. Or on a yacht!

Wait, got surprise one!!

It's backless!

Chose this dress because I always loved the combination of chilli red and green. Matches so nicely AND is super attention grabbing! Love it.

Hahaha! When it comes to this all-important question, us girls always reply... Why can't I have both?

Anyway, I have neither in this photo!!:

Yes, I am talking about lashes!!

If you think I look weird here it's coz I don't have my usual lash enhancements on! Look super different right?

The Camqueen of the Year Crowned

Don't know if you guys saw this advert I did for the CamQueen of the Year contest?

Now the contest is finally over and can I say WOW???????

It was definitely a smash hit among Singaporean youth!! The contest generated 4.5 MILLION page views and 400,000 votes cast via facebook!!

Of course, it was a very interesting contest where contestants were urged to send in a photo of themselves before and after a makeover, so everyone was trying to prove that they can doll themselves up the best. And I must say among the contestants were many brave souls who put up their photos at... erm, well not their best. All for the prize of $5,000!

After a super fierce competition, the final winner was crowned *drumroll*:

13 years and counting - my favourite foundation

I feel slightly emo about today's advertorial. It's because I've used this product since I was 13, when I first started putting on make up. When I was poor and pimply. I looked high and low for a foundation that provided enough coverage for my zits, lasted long, and didn't harm my skin - and found ZA.

And now I'm 26. Over a decade I've tried so many other foundations, and ZA's two way cake is STILL my favourite!!! I'm not lying ok I've mentioned this in many blog entries.

Almost every photo of me you see on this blog has ZA powder on my face!

Even just smelling the foundation gives me a sense of confidence coz I associate it with being pretty!!

So needless to say I love my ZA foundation (I remember the spokesperson then was Karen Mok) and now they love me back and I'm writing an advert for them!!! *sheds an emo tear.

Thanks ZA for covering all my flaws for 13 years :)

Why I love my ZA foundation:

1) The colour is lovely. I hate how some foundations (especially liquid ones it seems) make you look grey or yellow instead of well... dewy and radiant. ZA's foundation comes in 8 perfect shades to suit most Asian skintones - the most number of shades in the mass market! I'm a 23 when I'm tan and when it fades I'm a 22!

2) The damn powder is crazy long-lasting!! I've swam in it before (!!), clubbed and stayed overnight outside and it's still there.

3) It doesn't oxidise and turn some nasty darker colour.

4) It's cheap and affordable!!!

5) Doesn't harm my skin.

6) Contains SPF 20 - sounds like no big deal but once I went swimming (yes with foundation) and my whole body was sunburnt badly except for my face -_-

7) Has 3 magical beneficial ingredients - 1) Hyaluronic Acid to moisturize skin, 2) Poreless powder to even skin out instantly and to conceal pores and imperfections for a flawless finish and 3) Luminous powder... It's like little disco balls that give your skin a natural glow from all angles!
