Today's blog entry is for a brand that absolutely needs no advertising!! I'm sure you already know what it is coz of the title right? Perhaps you were singing it in your head!

That's right, it's 7-Eleven!!

Why do I say 7-Eleven needs no advertising? Since its start in Singapore in 1983, it has now flourished to 570 stores islandwide... Every corner you turn there is a 7-Eleven and they are always popular!!! If they never get out of your eyesight, they definitely don't need to advertise, right? LOL

Then why am I writing about 7-Eleven?

And now that I'm older, amazingly enough I came to realise that 7-Eleven isn't just for snacks and drinks... You can do so much other stuff there too like pay phone bills, top up cashcards, buy car coupons, or even buy household cleaning items!!

Every kids' (and some adults') favourite... SLURPEE!!! Only available at 7-Eleven and I love that there are so many yummy flavours!! My favourite was to mix cola with cherry!!

Btw I've never gotten a brainfreeze before... Is that weird?

YES! Fill the Slurpee to the BRIM of the domed plastic lid!! MORE IS MORE!!

Omg does anyone remember Mr Softee? CHENDOL FLAVOUR WAS MY FAVOURITE!!! So sad about it being gone!!

This is another of my cinema smuggling favourites!!! Mashed potatos!! When I first saw the machine I was so amazed that mashed potatoes can come out almost liquid and harden immediately. O_O and it's delicious!

Did you guys know that if you wished to have a really quick meal you can actually cook your own cup noodles at 7-Eleven? Yes! They provide boiling water for you and a fork!! With a $2 combo you get a cup of Gulp too!!

You cannot get a meal with a better price than that!! When I was a poor student I used to eat lunch after school with my fellow poor schoolmates at 7-Eleven.

And don't think just because my meal is so economical I didn't enjoy it! Coz 7-Eleven used to have a brand of of cup noodles called First Choice and my FAVOURITE cup noodle flavour was First Choice's Green Curry flavour! Not available anymore though. :(

 A microwave egg boiler?? What is this? Everyone knows eggs cannot be cooked in microwaves as they will explode!!

This is how I will look like if my face is an egg

You can now cook eggs in the microwave!!

Amazing or what? Boiley comes with a needle. You have to poke the needle into the egg to let extra pressure escape, and put the egg into Boiley, then pop egg and Boiley into the microwave!!

My skin has been plagued by some zits lately so I've been using loads of whitening products in hopes of reducing scars... So I pick the Intensive Whitening Black Cotton Mask!

And I got kinda a shock when I saw the mask...

 IT IS SO BLACK!!

I don't know why I was surprised but I guess I'm so used to seeing white masks... This is the first time ever I've seen a black one!

And it looks a bit like the wet seaweed lol...

Another thing I've noticed? The mask is EXTREMELY SOFT. In fact, I will say that this is the softest mask I've ever used... So soft to the point of being a bit hard to separate for fear that it will break!

You can see how thin it is!! Despite that, it is extremely absorbent... So much juice on it it kept dripping!

Have the mask on now! Tadah!! Look scary not?

(ps: Obviously not supposed to have the mask on with makeup on. This is just for demonstration purposes I've already tried the mask earlier on without makeup.)

I love how the mask almost feels like a second skin because it is so freaking soft... It sticks to every contour of your face!!

Here are some mask tips:

1) to make the mask absorb better you can massage your skin with the mask on.

2) My friend told me she lets her husband use her masks after she is done with them coz after 20 mins of being on your skin the masks are still very moist, so you can just let another person benefit from it!! (if he/she doesn't mind)

3) After finishing with your mask don't throw it away! Scrunch it up and squeeze the rest of the goodness on your arms, hands, even legs if there is excess. It is like serum, don't waste it.

I  just need to be blonde again and wear a black tube lol

Conclusion?

I love it!! ♥

Skin feels really dewy and cleaner, plus on top of that I noticed that after using the Black Cotton Mask my face takes a longer time to turn oily. Must be because it is so moisturized. :D

Plus the texture feels so extremely comfortable on my face. With some masks you constantly get air bubbles so you keep having to press them down but with this one it is completely snug on your skin!
